Corporate logo design for an publicly listed exploration / mining company that also required a compelling name. The requested theme for the logo was one of adventure, exploration and unique ability. A little known fact is that the Vikings explored the eastern shores of North America around the 10th century ( even before the Chinese in 1421-1424 ). Therefore Viking symbology was wholly appropriate and logo development followed easily. The logo design places the Viking face inside the 'V' to connote entry into unknown places and the overall image design maintains a solid, metallic look.
